It wouldn’t be so bad if they had to interject the Patriots into EVERY other conversation.

NFL Network: Jon Gruden talks about Peyton Manning. Hosts mention how good it is that Peyton is getting credit, then go on to compare Brady vs. Manning, THEN they talk about the upcoming Bucs game. NO REASON to talk about Brady at all. They just love thinking about him I guess.

They were on a bye last week, and every game I watched talked about them more than the losing team on the field. But Brady has been the media golden boy for years, no matter how much better Peyton may be (and is.)

I am so sick of the Patriots! Yesterday, it was obvious they were running up the score against the bills. Complete lack of class.

PATRIOTS SUCK!

First of all, I’ll admit that I have an affection for the Pats, I’m from Mass. But, I am first and foremost a Giants fan. I think that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are finally getting the credit that they deserve. Up until last year, all anybody heard about was Payton Manning, and he hadn’t won a Superbowl, Brady had won three at that point, in fact he was the MVP in two of them. Brady finally has an “A” class corps of receivers, and everybody is suddenly either a Past fan or they hate them. There is so much talk about the Pats running up the score, about Don Shula’s sour grapes, Manning getting beaten again by Brady, that sometime I wonder where the other 30 teams are. Are they playing in an other league?

When the Bears were hot in 1985, we suffered through the “Superbowl Shuffle” and put up with Jim McMahon and William Perry’s antics. We have all seen footage of Namath’s poolside guarantee of a win in the Superbowl. In the 1980’s and 1990’s we kept hear about how great John Elway and Dan Mario were, Elway got his two rings in his last two seasons, and Marino never got one.

No, I don’t think that we should be tired of hearing about the Patriots. If the other teams are tired of hearing about it, then they should stop them.

yea…there are plenty of good teams in the nfl, not just the patriots. they’re full of bandwagon fans anyway. i was so mad to hear the announcer on espn go from the denver-tennessee game to something about the patriots in one sentence. grr! there’s a game going on here, come on.
