I’m considering getting plastic surgery, or more specifically rhinoplasty. The problem is that I have a large nose and I want to make it smaller as well as shape and define it.

I noticed that before and after pictures don’t look that drastic/ different. So exactly how far can they go with changing how your nose looks?

Well then you definitely haven’t seen Michael Jackson’s before and after pictures. It all depends on what you want; if you want a natural look, then you will get something similar to what the ppl in those before and after pictures got. If you want a very different look, then they will make it tiny like a button but I cannot guarantee it will look real/natural. If you want your whole nose cut off so that you have just two slits in the middle of your face, give Jacko a call and ask him to refer you to his plastic surgeon.
Hope this helps!

Yeah,It makes a big difference in the shape of your nose!

I noticed that a lot of before and after pictures don’t look that drastic, but i think you just need to be really specific on what you want done and if drastic measures need to be taken, then so be it.They will do whatever you want change about your nose,at least they should, because It’s the customers choice.

If you look at before and after pictures of angelina jolie’s nose,It was pretty drastic, her nose is a lot shorts and narrower.

They can pretty much do whatever you want.
What you will want to do is go to a consultation with a surgeon that you are considering (it’s usually free, sometimes they charge you if you decide not to have the sugery). When you talk with them, tell them exactly what you want, and they will discuss what they can do and how it will look, as well as the risks, procedure, etc.
A word of advice if you are seriously considering plastic surgery - research surgeons in depth before deciding. I say this because there are a lot of sketchy people out there! Check and make sure they have a license to pratice (from your state’s medical board), check the American Society of Plastic Surgens, and any other medical associations. Belive me, it is worth the extra time, and a possible higher cost, to make sure you have great results and a safe surgery! Good luck with your decision!

I think a nose job is kinda pointless. My reasoning behind this is that a majority of people base what they think of as being attractive on what they see on tv or in magazines from the very small percentage of people who actually live on this earth. Getting the positions on tv and on pages on the magazines is incredibly competitve and people will do almost anything to achieve just a few seconds on television. Therefore, producers/casters w/e weed out anyone they see as having slight imperfections because there are so many other people willing to take it to another level or are just flat out gifted physically. A naturally larger/curved nose is completely normal and has been so forever but just not considered the modern ideal. This probably isn’t an answer to your question but i felt like posting it somewhere because of some of the misconceptions/anxieties over bigger noses. Do things to improve other aspects of your appearence that are more reasonable and see what the results are. People won’t limit you by your nose if you don’t limit yourself.
