I just finished my last chemotherapy treatment a few days ago. I have felt a little weak following a few of the treatments…but today it got pretty bad. I am pale and am wondering if I could be anemic? I was treated with the drug Rituxan, which isn’t supposed to have a lot of side effects. Has anyone experienced this type of feeling? Any suggestions on how I can get it to go away? Or, do I just need to get a few days of rest?

Please have an open relationship with your doctor, these are very good questions for him or his nurse.

Also, as you probably know, there are several different groups for patients receiving chemo, and they really are informative.

good luck to you

Dizziness and lightheadedness is a less common side effect of this particular chemo drug.

You should mention this to your doctor who would at least enter on your chart for further reference. It takes a few days for the symptoms of chemo to leave your body.

Another reason you should speak with your doctor is that this may be something else altogether and its just a co-incidence it occured after chemo. The only way to know is to call your doctor.

Call your doctor, everyone is different. All chemo has side effects and some linger longer. Most have a day or two half life when you go off the drug.

I would definitely call the MD. You very possible could be anemic or just worn out from these drugs. I would call however.
