well actually i HAD stress fractures recently so there starting to heal, but still hurt
another thing i have to add is that ive had shin splints multiple times and my ankles have ALWAYS been a problem so i have just learned to deal with them. plus im really good at track, and im competing with injuries and so i just feel that if i work through it then i would be the best without my injuries!!!
thx randy u helped!!!!! i just had to type this here cuz i wont use this acount ever again and so i wont be able to choose a best answer sorry lol

it it hurts, you need to rest - think long term - when you are healed, you can run again…

Unfortunately the only way to heal a stress fracture is with rest. You could probably make it through the rest of your track season with pain medications but it will not heal and the pain won’t go away until you rest for a couple of months. If you want to continue track, you would get the biggest benefit on both the stress fractures and the shin splints if you quit the distance running, they are the hardest on your legs and feet.
