Question for bald guys?

Larrytheloser asked: I am 34 and balding very fast. This is making me very very depressed. Plus I don’t have a gf and never had one before. For guys who are completely bald, how did you deal with going bald?.

I am not a bald guy but am married to one. (He is actually balding, not totally bald but, he was young and had a high hairline and thinning hair.) My daughter convinced him to shave his head and he looks wonderful. He wasn’t sure he would like it but, he does and so does everyone else!! Very few do not like it and I find it especially sexy!! He likes the fact that he no longer pays a barber for haircuts! LOL! Look around you and see how many bald guys there are. Forget trying to do combovers or trying to make thin hair look thick. Loose the hair and be free to be you! Once you get used to it, you will love it!! Bald is beautiful!!

Shave it all off. Nice and clean, and grow in a goatee. Doesn’t look bad, some girls really like it. I mean why fight a losing battle. That whole combover thing, wigs, ewww. The real situation here is that you are 34 dont have a gf, and never did. You’re worring about your HAIR???? Dude, you have bigger issues than a shiny head.

Ummm…. i’m not a guy or balding, but they deal and make it work. Have you seen Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? They had a bald guy who was depressing like you and they shaved his head, got him some fashionable glasses and Viola he was cool looking. You probably need more help in the dating department and a bit of self-esteem. :)

i started losing hair at 19 as a side effect of medication i take, no need to be depressed believe me, women look at a bald head and see a solar panel for a sex machine lol, j/k, in reality its not your lack of hair thats stopped you having a g/f, its lack of confidence in yourself, look at your good points, you’ll find a lot more than bad ones then use them to act positively to improve your lifestyle and happiness. p.s. 9 months after my 19th i got married to my first wife and we were together 27 years till she passed away.i now have a new partner who loves me as much as then, so be bald and proud of it.

Well my friend you’re not alone in this one. Just look around. Accept it and shake it off. People have come a long way in the last twenty or so years. Punk rockers no longer offend the eye. Businessmen have begun to trade in the suit and tie for semi-formal and casual attire. It has been a slow and painfull process but the influence of marketing and Hollywood pseudo perfection is starting to fall apart. It is less and less important in the world to look a certain way. True far too many people still go to the surgeons to build a better self. Some I will admit it does truly benefit psychologically and if that’s the case good on them.

Buy a set of trimmers keep it short and grow old as gracefully as possible. Your gonna save a whole bunch of time and money not having to fuss about, you will stay cooler in the summer.

This doesn’t mean it won’t be an unsettling change but allowing yourself to become vain and pretentious brings with some seriously ugly karma.

As for the gf issue…..This self-conscious thing your expressing is probably the root of that.
