My wife and I are using the patch and a bunch of gum!!! LOL
The first day I went through 3 packs of gum in 2 hours. We are on week 2. Throw away all your ashtrays, clean out your car!!! Hope this helps!!

Yes I succeeded in stopping with the aid of Champix. Yes there are slight side effects, mostly a feeling of nausea, if you are on day 4 of treatment you are probably still smoking,
you will be starting to notice that the ciggies are beginning to taste rather repulsive, they did to me, I stopped on day 9, I then finished the 12 week course of Champix and have not smoked since. 8 months now and I smoked for over 40 years, stick with it and the best of luck, it can be done.

It is called Chantix, and yes it works very well…if you are serious about quiting. Just remember that you have made it four days and that is an accomplishment in itself…congratulations!! Years ago I was told the physical dependency of nicotine lasts only three days and any urge thereafter is all in your head…don’t know how true that is, but theoretically it should simply be mind over matter-realistically this is the hardest part and that is where the Chantix comes in…good luck and follow the directions to the tee, it is too expensive to waste.

You see, only strong determination coupled with a strong will can get you outa this habit. No amount of Champix or whatever…can help you.Since you have left it for few days, shows you can do it.Be positive. Its only psychological dependance.Set yourself free from this evil.Imagine the pain and suffering, one goes through(cancer) because of smoking. You are mentally strong since you have decided to kick this habit. You need no help in this regard. As I said you are a blessed few,who possess the will to succeed.Imagine the joy afterwards.Good luck boy.May you prove me right.

My dad did. He had been smoking for 13 years. It took him 7 days to quit. No joke. Remember the first few days are the hardest, as all the drugs that make you addicted are still in your body. It will get easier as time goes on.

I don’t know what the new drug is like but since it has been 4 day’s stick with it you are doing really well the poisons will be out of your body now so it is just the cravings when they start fight them they wont last that long find yourself something else to do when they start even if it is just going for a short walk good luck
