In the UK 590,000 people have protested against the introduction of road pricing. Government ministers denounce it as “nonsense” but the Prime Minister has taken the unusual step of emailing all protesters individually to help quell their fears and ensure that they realise that the whole proposed poilicy will be discussed in full before implementation.
