4 comments.Though people like to buy jewelry throughout the year, most like to get it during the holidays. Right now, in my community, is the best time to buy. It’s not just because of the holidays; it is because of the fact that two of the biggest jewelry stores in my area are going out of business. They are both having a huge jewelry sale, and they are hoping to sell everything out by the end of December. Though it would seem like the most obvious time to buy, I don’t think my husband has taken the hint.
When we married I never had an engagement ring, though this was a choice that I made. He was prepared to go out and buy one, but I told him that I was willing to wait until we had more money. It wasn’t that important to me at the time, but I would like to have a ring one day. I have said numerous times that he could save a lot of money by taking advantage of a jewelry sale, but he seems to be ignoring me. I would like to think he’s just not giving me a clue and has at least gone to look through the jewelry sale, but I’m not holding my breath.
Quite often a jewelry sale is a great time to get something for the ones you love. Jewelry can be expensive, and sometimes it is something that seems to be such a luxury that they never think about getting anything. If you take the time to check out a jewelry sale once in a while though, you may actually find a deal that you can live with, and you can surprise your loved one with something they hadn’t dared dream they could have.
If you don’t have time to wait for a jewelry sale, and you don’t have a lot of money, there are those out there looking to sell what they have for much less than what they paid. This can be tricky though, because you won’t have a choice in size, and some used jewelry looks, well, used. You can look on eBay or other online sites, but you may not find anything that catches your eye. In the end you may have to wait for a good jewelry sale anyway, but at least that way you can get something you know is new, and that is sure to fit.
