Managing a Hangover
Some people love to drink- but dislike the side effects that result the next morning, something society calls a ‘hang over’. While there are pills and medications that can cure you, there is a much better method to keeping yourself hangover-free.
Drinking on an empty stomach will significantly increase risk of hangovers. If you want to prevent the risk, simply eat before you drink. Including water into your drinks help re-hydrate your body from alcohol’s natural dehydrating effects. This, in turn, helps with hangovers. Also, drinking plenty of water before you go to sleep will help out a great deal.
Mixing drinks, or certain types of alcohol like wine, will often result in a hangover. It is recommended you drink what you are accustomed to- and to stay away from wine if you encounter the notorious ‘wine headaches’.
Eating something with sugar in it generally helps after a hangover- as does exercise, sleep, or ibuprofen. Water is one of the best remedies even after you have a hangover- and should be considered the first choice. While drinking is actually poisoning your system, millions continue the age-old tradition of ‘getting drunk’. If you are one of these people, follow these steps to help make it less of a stressing experience the next morning.
