mysterious_qt asked: My mother has bad gum disease (pyaria) but she refuses to go see a dentist because of the cost. Is there anything else she can do to avoid the dentist and costs?

does she have a medical card( i think that’s what it is) to help with the cost? She needs to see the dentist if her teeth are that bad. but of course flossing, brushing and a good mouth wash (listerine is the best)can help prevent gum disease but if its advance she really should go.
I have pyaria and my teeth have no roots. They look like kernels of corn. I have worked for almost 30 years to keep them. I brushed at least 2x a day with peroxide, rinsed and then used baking soda to brush. Use circular motions not up and down as it irritates the gums and actually pushes debris under the gum line.
