I am going to but pet toothpaste, but i was wondering, could I make some homemade with household items? I heard Baking Soda works well. Is this true?

Please don’t call me lazy. I AM buying it, I just need a toothpaste to last until then.

NOTE~ This is in Dogs because this might also be used for my new puppy if we run out of toothpaste.
HE HAS DREOOLED HIS WHOLE LIFE_ HE IS NOT SICK.

also, about the why, i would feel better if he was drooling CLEAN spit all over me.
