-Latley i have been out of breathe often
-My heart beat seems very fast
-I had a few HORRIBLE dizzy spells
-i have gianed NO wieght at all and lately ive been glued to my coumputer, little physical activity besides gym class
-ive been REALLY thirsty and hungery even after ive eaten or driken 5 minutes before
-in my feet have gotten like pins and needles
about me:
-im 13
-i weight about 80 punds
-im only about 5 feet tall
-im a virgin
-i have yes had my period
-i dont think anythign serious runs in our family .. except my grandpa has diabetes
-i dont not work out
-i eat good, lots of veggies not as many fruits but still some
-i do not have an eating disorder or any other medical problem
-i know im not dyhidradted
-i eat alot =-p

My sugar level to my utmost horror was 239 yesterday after dinner.Today after lunch it was 250.Since yesterday, i am having dryness in my mouth and also a white deposit on my tongue.Are these symptoms due to sugar or some flu?
What should I do about my sugar levels?I am scard about telling it to my parentd and dont want any blood tests done.What should i do?Could anyone please help me?I am 17, 5 feet 7 inches height and 100kg (220 pounds) weight.

Hi,
I took my glucose levels again in the morning, and after about 10hrs of fasting, it was around 240 mg/dl.
My sugar level is between 230-250 since the past 3 days, in both fasting as well as random.My parents are right now not in town, so cannot see a doctor till then.Any suggestions?I am also having increased urination since yesterday and a dry mouth.I also have cough and pain while swallowing.Should I take any medicines / antibiotics for the cough and cold?Should i take an insulin tablet?PLEASE HELP!! Is this type 1 or type 2 diabetes?What should i eat?

My doc scared the heck out of me today when I went in for thyroid check. Ok I am 70 pounds overweight…no symptoms. Great blood sugar LAST year.
She said she thinks I have diabetes…based on no symptoms or bloodwork results (yet)
Im nervous tho and have to turn 50 soon before I get the results back ! ANY advice here??? She wanted to start meds and I said NO-not yet. I got the message and am on a weight loss program

I’m 16 years old. going to be 17 in Jan. I weight 128 pounds.
Each day I consume a lot of sugar. and i mean A LOT. These past months I’ve been getting side pain, it was just on my right side, now its on my left side also. I pee each day like 10 times and if i need to pee I can’t hold it…I’ll need to use the bathroom right away or else I’ll pee on my self!!
OmG ew, do you think I have diabetes????

I was talking to my friend about 5 minutes ago and I was telling her about these weird things I was having. I will be doing something simple like walking to the kitchen to get watter when Ill get dizzy and feel REALLY weird.Its hard to explain. Its not from dehydration because I drink a couple of water bottles a day. This has been happening for about 7 years now. Then she told me that her mom was having those and she had diabetes.So I looked it up and I am also having some of the other symptoms. Like Excesive thirst,Im ALWAYS really thirsty.Also fatique, Ill have that even after having 10 hours of sleep.

Am I just imagining things,or is it diabetes.
If its not diabetes, what are the things[couldnt think of what to call them!]

sooo..there’s 2 types of diabetes right? there’s the type 1 or juvenile diabetes and the type 2. so if you’re diagnosed that you have type 1 diabetes, does that mean that you were born with it? or did you just develop it..oh and does type 1 diabetes become or evolve into type 2 diabetes while you grow up? or does is stay type 1 forever…
