I never went to mainstream school so pretty much never had to deal with hearing world.except with my siblings. But I grew up with regular School and teen problems. Not having communications barrier is important. I am just interested in seeing the pros and cons.

There show involves a huge amount of lighting.. lasers, colored lights, spotlights, ect. The lights in a lot of songs correspond to the beat and so forth of the music. The music is loud, so you feel the vibrations.

I didnt think about it until last night, but I bet there are a lot of deaf people that already enjoy or would enjoy this group.

When I visited China, Chinese deaf people told me that it is illegal for deaf people to drive there.

Malaysia… No problem at all.

The Gambia… there is no law against deaf drivers, but people here say that it is not safe for them to drive, and as a result deaf people are discouraged from driving.

I just want to see what people think in YOUR country about deaf people driving. Thanks.

i’m not referring to people who become deaf later on or have already learnt how to speak. i was wondering how babies or children who are born deaf learn how to speak for the first time? i mean, they cannot hear other people and themselves speak, so how do they know how to pronounce words?

I was reading some of the old answers about watching out for white-coated, blue-eyed cats because a lot of them are deaf and need extra care.

I find that totally not true and I think it’s sad that people steer away from taking them as pets. My cat has been deaf since birth (and she is white with blue eyes) and she’s an outdoor country cat! In fact, she seems to be the healthiest of all my four cats.

I have had a great time training and living with him. I have a 12 week old deaf Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog puppy at the moment looking for a good home.
