My parents won’t let me get a piercing other than on my ears so I was planning on getting a nose piercing and a belly peircing after a couple years, when they settle a bit about it. I’m woried that if i get a nose piercing I won’t pull the look off. I’m afraid that i’ll look dumb or won’t fit with my face and the way i look. I have a friend who is a U.S permanent resident (maybe a citizen in a few years) and originally from Japan.

She has an older sister who is registered as disabled in Japan and living with her parents. Her parents take care of her for past 15-20 years since she became developmentally disabled. It is not a severe disability, but she does need some protection and can’t live alone.

My friend is thinking to invite her sister to come to US and live with her and willing to support her since their parents are getting older. My friend is thinking her sister can attend school maybe here in the US?

What would be the first step for my friend to have her sister (a foreigner) come and live with her in the states?
